Welcome to the College of Nursing Learning Resource Center and The University of Toledo Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center! Our goal is to prepare students to become competent nurses in completing assessments, performing technical skills, and utilizing critical thinking skills to care for complex patients.

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is located in the lower level of the Howard L. Collier Building on the Health Science Campus. It includes multifunctional teaching and learning laboratories that provide nursing students with opportunities for self-directed and facilitated learning utilizing the latest in educational technology. This is where students learn the majority of their skills for the nursing profession.

Our Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center (IISC) offers many ways for healthcare students to collaborate and work together. The Advanced Clinical Simulation Center, located on the second floor of IISC is where the nursing students complete simulation activities. It is a virtual hospital with an ICU, Trauma Suite, OB & Delivery Suite, Operating Room, Ambulatory Care Room, and Pediatrics Room equipped with human patient simulators, clinical equipment, and debriefing and control rooms. There is also an ultrasound lab and clinical skills area.
