Applying to The University of Toledo
Undergraduate : Graduate : Professional
Applying to UT can be done in one of several ways. No preference is given to the type of application a student prefers to use, but please only apply once. For example, please do not apply online and mail in a written application.
Applying as an Undergraduate
Undergraduate students have the following options:
Option 1: Apply online
This option is the fastest, allowing you to fill out and submit your application online in one easy step. The University of Toledo uses OhioMentor, which offers access to information and admissions applications for statewide and independent colleges and universities within Ohio.
Option 2: Fill out a printed application
Printed application forms are distributed in the mail, during visits to campus, and online as a PDF. However you acquire one, just fill it out and mail it in. Of course, you can always come into the Office of Undergraduate Admission (for Direct From High School Students, Adult, Transfer and International Students) complete a printed application, and turn it in right there.
Applications to The University of Toledo are accepted throughout the year, and admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. Refer to our Application Timeline for other dates and deadlines.
Applying to Graduate/Professional Programs
During the transition phase of the University of Toledo and the Medical University of Ohio merger, processes of the two institutions are being integrated. To find out how to apply for your particular graduate level program, please visit the Graduate Admission page. Law School Admission is still handled by the College of Law admission office.
