Schedule a Visit

While on your campus visit, if you would like to meet with someone from your intended major, you can sign up for a 1:15pm academic appointment under “Academic Appointment” on the registration form. Academic visit times and availability may vary. The current academic visit schedule is:

College of Arts and Letters: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

Neff College of Business and Innovation: Mondays and Fridays

Judith Herb College of Education: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

College of Engineering: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays

College of Health and Human Services: Varies depending on program (see availabilty by clicking a date below)

College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays

College of Nursing: Mondays and Wednesdays

College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

University College: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Jesup Scott Honors College: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

We have plenty of events for students that have been accepted and admitted! Please check our admission events page for these options or reach out to your admission counselor. If you are looking for a general presentation and tour, click the High School Student Admission Presentation and Campus Tour dropdown. Admitted student events differ from orientation. Log into your New Rocket Portal to register for orientation.

Join us for a campus tour and admission presentation. During the 30-minute admission presentation you will learn about academics, student life, financial aid, your next steps and more! While on tour, a current Rocket will take you through an academic building, the Student Union, the Student Recreation Center, Ottawa West residence hall, while telling you about life as a Rocket.

Summer hours will be effective starting May 6.

If you would like to talk to your admission counselor while on campus, please sign-up for a 12:30pm meeting under “Additional Presentations” on registration. These meeting are offered on Fridays.

Date Selection: Please select a date that is highlighted in yellow on the calendar. Summer hours will be effective starting May 6.

Parking: Parking details will be included in the two emails you will receive confirming and reminding you of your visit. An email will be sent directly after you register and three days before your visit.

Weather: Tours will go out in any weather. If you will get your mail delivered, you will get a campus tour! We recommend you look up the Toledo weather before your visit. If we cancel a tour due to weather, you will be notified via email and phone. Please dress comfortably and appropriately. We have a walking tour, so comfy shoes are the best option.

What event or visit is right for you: We want you to have the best experience on campus! Want to know what event or visit is best fit for you? Reach out to your admission counselor and they will be happy to help.

Extra Helpful Tips:

• Make sure you check the weather, bring comfy shoes, and come prepared! You will see our whole campus during an hour and fifteen-minute walking tour.


• Plan to arrive around 15 minutes before your visit to ensure you have time to park, get checked-in, use the restroom, and take in the beautiful sight of campus. Make the time extra special by taking a picture next to our front yard sign with the iconic bell tower in the background!


• Bring your excuse note from school. If you don’t have one, we got you covered. Just ask for one at check-in.


• If you can no longer make your visit, we will miss you! But we will ask that you contact our office, as we appreciate the heads up.
