How to Use The Color Printer

Please only print out pages that contain color. For black and white pages use another computer and printer. You are only allowed 2 color pages for every business credit hour per semester so be resourceful. You might want to first print your document on the black and white printer in the lab, this will help to eliminate any errors.

1. Open the document you would like to print in color. You, the student, should determine which pages you would like to print in color. If you have pages of no color you will not want to print these pages through color printer because they will count against your total number of allowed pages per semester.

2. Click on File on the menu bar. Do not click the printer icon on the standard menu.

3. Click on "Print" within the File Menu.

4. Select the color printer: st0126hp4600n on stapps. You may do this by clicking on the "Name:" drop down menu on the print screen.

5. If you would only like to print specific pages from your document click "Pages" under the Page Range area of the print screen.

6. When you have made any necessary adjustments and are ready to print your pages click ok.

7. Take your Rocket ID to the Virtual Lab Counter and tell them your User Name and how many pages you printed.

8. The lab attendant will verify your information and allow the print job.

9. if the number of pages stated by the student and the number of pages stated by the computer differs, the student will be asked to recheck his/her document.
