Environmental Health and Radiation Safety

The mission of the Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Department is to develop, implement and monitor programs of environmental and occupational safety and health as necessary to protect the health and safety of faculty, staff, students and campus visitors, and to provide compliance with applicable regulations.

The Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Department is located in the Facility Support Building , Suite 1000 on Health Science Campus and in the Public Safety Center, Suite 1110 on Main Campus.  The Radiation Safety Office can be found in Hospital 0259.

 

Important Reminders

Portable Space Heaters Policy- Remember, space heaters are prohibited in all clinical buildings, residence halls, laboratories and areas primarily used for the storage of combustible materials.
