Toledo Law is pleased to host the 2018 American Mock Trial Association Regional Tournament
The weekend of February 24–25, 2018, competitors from 24 college and university teams will compete in the 2018 American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) regional tournament hosted by The University of Toledo College of Law. The four-round tournament will decide which teams will earn a bid to the Opening Round Championship Series, being held in Hamilton, OH, in March. REGISTRATION & WITHDRAWAL INFORMATION
Registration: Teams assigned to the 2018 Regional Tournament at The University of Toledo College of Law must complete all required registration information at http://www.collegemocktrial.org/tournaments-/regional/assigned-team-information/
Procedure to Withdraw: All withdrawals should be immediately communicated to Michael Walsh, chairperson of the Tournament Administration Committee, and AMTA at amta@collegemocktrial.org. A withdrawal is not considered "official" until it is communicated by the school to the above-mentioned individuals.
Withdrawal Penalty Structure: The following penalties shall be assessed to each school that either withdraws and/or fails to appear at a regional tournament:
- $75 for teams that drop within 28 days of the start of the tournament, but more than 14 days before the start of the tournament;
- $125 for teams that drop within 14 days of the start of the tournament but more than 7 days before the start of the tournament;
- $175 for teams that drop within 7 days of the start of the tournament but more than 48 hours before the start of the tournament;
- $225 for teams that drop within 48 hours of the start of the tournament but more than 24 hours before the start of the tournament;
- $350 for teams that drop within 24 hours of the start of the tournament, but before the start of the tournament;
- $500 for teams that drop after the start of the tournament, that fail to show for the tournament, or that leave the tournament early without permission of the AMTA Representative(s).

Directions & Event Parking
The College of Law is located at 1825 W. Rocket Drive, Toledo, OH 43606 immediately inside the West Entrance to the University (off Secor Road, just south
of Bancroft Street). Parking is available in Parking Area 12, the lot immediately
adjacent to the law school. Please note that visitors typically need to register their vehicle and license plate
number with a Law Center office secretary, but we have requested no ticketing in Parking
Area 12 the entire weekend of the tournament.

The University of Toledo College of Law is not arranging hotel blocks for this event. Please contact the hotel sales manager for availability, pricing (utilizing the negotiated UT rate), hotel brand loyalty points, if you'd like your rooms together, and to let them know of a particular time your group will arrive for breakfast (if breakfast is offered at the hotel).
