1) Format/Grading for Prerequisite Courses and Labs
Online/virtual classes will be accepted for pre-requisite coursework completed during
any academic semester. With the exception of the COVID-19 impacted semesters listed
below, lab coursework should be completed in person. We will accept online lab coursework
during the 2019-2020 academic year, 2020-2021 academic year, and 2021-2022 academic
year. Further, we will accept non-letter grades for courses taken during the above
semesters. A grade of pass (in a "pass/fail" format), "credit" (in a "credit/no credit"
format), or similar passing grade will be acceptable. We will also accept online/virtual
labs for science/math prerequisite courses completed during the above semesters.
If invited to submit a secondary application, you will have an opportunity to explain
how your academic journey may have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
2) MCAT and GPA
We require an MCAT score to be considered for a secondary application except for applicants
who have previously been accepted through one of our Early Assurance pathway programs. While applicants invited to submit a secondary have a wide range of MCAT scores
and undergraduate GPAs, typically applicants with an MCAT score below the 39th national
percentile or a GPA lower than 2.9 on a 4.0 scale are not likely to be invited to
complete a secondary application.
3) Interviews
For the 2024-2025 interview cycle, we will conduct synchronous, virtual Multiple Mini
Interviews (MMI). Our online MMIs will be from September through April. If you're
invited for an interview, the email we send you will contain additional information
including technical requirements and access to the web-based platform.
4) Other Requirements
Other requirements will remain as detailed in the Application Process section of this website.
