The University Ambassadors are a distinct group of students who foster good relations between The University of Toledo student body and The University of Toledo alumni, faculty, and staff as well as the Toledo community. Their purpose is to promote the University enthusiastically and positively, and to represent The University of Toledo community.

The foremost responsibility of University Ambassadors is to honorably represent The University of Toledo and the President, exemplifying the image of excellence of our Student Body in interaction with the community. Ambassadors are chosen for scholastic achievement, community involvement and service, out-going personalities and dedication to The University of Toledo. It is a privilege to be selected and to serve as a University Ambassador.

Ambassadors primarily assist with special events hosted by the President. In addition, Ambassadors are asked to assist the various colleges and departments with events. These students are often called upon to help with a wide array of activities, including commencement ceremonies, theatre performances, receptions, and fund-raisers.
