Directions

To Ritter Planetarium from I-75 (from the North)

Continue south on I-75 to I-475 (Ann Arbor, Sylvania). Travel west on I-475 to the second exit, Douglas Road. Turn left (south) on Douglas Road and proceed to University Hills Blvd. (4th traffic light). Turn right on University Hills Blvd. for one block, then continue straight ahead into the University of Toledo's Bancroft Street Campus main entrance. Both the Ritter Planetarium and Brooks Observatory are immediately on your right after entering the campus.

To Ritter Planetarium from I-75 (from the South)

Continue north on I-75 past downtown Toledo to the I-475 junction (Ann Arbor, Sylvania). Travel west on I-475 to second exit, Douglas Road. Turn left (south) on Douglas Road and proceed to University Hills Blvd. (4th traffic light). Turn right on University Hills Blvd. for one block, then continue straight ahead into the University of Toledo's Bancroft Street Campus main entrance. Both the Ritter Planetarium and Brooks Observatory are immediately on your right after entering the campus.

To Ritter Planetarium from US-23 (from the North)

From US-23 bear left (east) at the I-475 east junction. Take I-475 east to the Secor Road exit (note University of Toledo signs). Turn right onto Secor and proceed south on Secor to Bancroft Street. Turn left onto Bancroft Street, and proceed to the Bancroft Street Campus main entrance. Both the Ritter Planetarium and Brooks Observatory are immediately on your right after entering the campus.

To Ritter Planetarium from The Ohio Turnpike

Best Route:

Use Exit 59 off the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/I-90). Take Reynolds Road north to Bancroft Street (about 5 miles) and turn right onto Bancroft Street. Proceed on Bancroft Street about 3 miles to the Bancroft Street Campus main entrance. Both the Ritter Planetarium and Brooks Observatory are immediately on your right after entering the campus.

Alternate Route:

Use Exit 65. Drive north on I-280 for about 9 miles, crossing the Maumee River and passing the downtown Toledo exits. Take I-75 south to I-475 (Ann Arbor, Sylvania). Travel west on I-475 to second exit, Douglas Road. Turn left (south) on Douglas Road and proceed to University Hills Blvd. (4th traffic light). Turn right on University Hills Blvd. for one block, then continue straight ahead into the University of Toledo's Bancroft Street Campus main entrance. Both the Ritter Planetarium and Brooks Observatory are immediately on your right after entering the campus.
