The University of Toledo Early Learning Center provides UToledo students, faculty and staff, as well as the Toledo community, the highest quality early education and care for their children. Our professional staff is committed to providing a supportive, stimulating and holistic environment for the children enrolled in our programs.
As an active and integral program of the university community, the Early Learning Center also supports The University of Toledo’s academic mission through learning opportunities for UToledo students and faculty. Academic activities may include research, class projects, observations and field placement.

The Early Learning Center has a 5-Star Step Up To Quality rating from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed child care licensing health and safety regulations. This rating distinguishes our program as going above and beyond to provide a safe, quality experience for our students and families.

The Early Learning Center's hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm. To learn about dates the ELC is closed, please refer to our holiday and weather closures.
