Adobe® Acrobat®
What good is a document you can't open? Whether you create business plans, spreadsheets, graphically rich brochures, or Web sites, Adobe® Acrobat® software lets you convert any document to an Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) file. Anyone can open your document across a broad range of hardware and software, and it will look exactly as you intended — with layout, fonts, links, and images intact. With Acrobat, you and your team can increase productivity by approving and commenting on documents from within a Web browser.

Respondus
is a powerful software application that enhances the functionality and usability of WebCT's quiz, survey, and self-test tools. It also provides seamless synchronization of print-based and online exams. Whether you are a "power user" of WebCT or a relatively new user, Respondus can save you hours on each assessment or survey project.
Log into WebCT and go to the Faculty Resource Center you should find all of the Respondus information. On the Faculty Resource Center homepage click Software and then Respondus 3.5.
The password for downloading the installer is listed on the Download & Instructions page. The password you need to install Respondus is located on the 2006-2007 License Documentation page.

Respondus LockDown Browser
Respondus LockDown Browser is a custom browser that enhances the security of web-based testing. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser to take a web-based quiz or exam in Blackboard, they are prevented from printing, copying, accessing other applications or websites, or closing a test before the test has been submitted for grading. Quizzes or exams that require the use of LockDown Browser cannot be accessed with standard browsers.
Respondus 3.5 must be used to prepare a Blackboard quiz or exam for use with Respondus LockDown Browser. An Instructor Quick Start Guide is available in the Faculty Resource Center under Software. For additional assistance and student resources, please contact your instructional designer. |
