Campaign priorities have been developed for both the main campus and the health science campus, along with a compelling case for support that was approved by a core group of faculty, staff and alumni.

For the Main Campus
- Scholarship Endowments
- Endowed Chairs and Professorships
- Campus improvements, including the Complex for Business, Learning and Engagement, Carlson Library, classroom and laboratory enhancements and Savage Hall athletics facilities
For the Health Science Campus
- Centers of Excellence (a cardiovascular center and the university cancer center, to name a few)
- Presidential and minority scholarships, to address student indebtedness
- Endowed faculty positions
