Mollie Parsons

mollie.parsons@utoledo.edu

Mollie graduated in June of 2008 from Ohio University with a major of Family Studies.  During her four years in Athens, she was active within the service-learning community, with both the on-campus Child Development Center and a nearby nursing home.  She was also a member of Senior Class Council which helped prepare the soon-to-be graduates for the "real world."  She is looking forward to her year with the University of Toledo, working with staff and faculty, students and community partners.

"Discipline yourself and others won’t have to.  Respect every opportunity, but fear none.  The best way to improve your team is to improve yourself.  Do not mistake activity for achievement.  It is amazing how much we can accomplish when no one care who gets the credit.  Time spent getting even would be better spent getting ahead."

Ashley Carr
Office and Program Assistant
419.530.6043
ashley.carr@utoledo.edu

Ashley graduated from Strongsville high school in 2005. She is currently attending the University of Toledo pursuing Accounting. She will be receiving her Bachelors Degree within the next year or so, and from there she will be going for her masters and passing the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Exam. She is the office assistant in the office and is also a guest services receptionist at another company. Her college experience has been a great one and it just keeps getting better. The Office of Service-Learning and Community Engagement has opened her eyes to great events and great community engagement, which helps students get involved and help with the community through the University of Toledo. There are great service opportunities involved and great experiences, she recommends more students get involve in these great efforts and give back to the community!

"COME DO YOUR SERVICE!"
