What is the Service-Learning Community Floor Program in the Residence Halls?
Students who are interested in participating in the Community Service-Learning Floor Program have the opportunity to live with a small group of residents who work on various service projects throughout the semester. Each group is led by a Student Ambassador who has previously lived on the floor and helps with the organizational aspects of the project. In addition, faculty mentors participate in each small group and assist with reflection activities. A minimum of 3 hours of service each month is required to remain a member of the program.
The main service sites for 2007-2008 are as follows where the students on the service learning floor have already completed 244 hours of service and 106 hours of reflection
