Emergency Medicine Residency-Specific Benefits

  • Each Resident may attend a national meeting, conference or seminar, once during the residency, for professional development purposes for up to seven (7) days with the permission of the Program Director. Vacation and sick leave may not accumulate from year to year and will be prorated accordingly for “off cycle” residents.
  • EMRA and ACEP memeberships including subscriptions to The Annals of Emergency Medicine and the popular EM:RAP podcast
  • Access to the Rosh Review EM Question Bank for studying for In-Service Exams and the Boards
  • Expenses for the cost of going to the National ACEP Conference or up to that amount for a different conference of the resident's choosing (2nd year)
  • Expenses associated with a Emergency Medicine Board Review course or conference of a resident's choosing (3rd year)
