Toledo is home to a world class museum of art, some of the best restaurants in the region, a beautiful network of Metro Parks, and the birthplace of Jeep, Libbey Glass, and home to the University of Toledo. It is a small city with a downtown built on the banks of the Maumee river and adjacent to Lake Erie, where kayaking, boating, and island hopping during summertime are favorite pastimes.
